There
are new techniques today but various penis enlargement techniques have been reported historically, especially among the nomad Arabic tribes.
Body
enhancement techniques performed by males are always tied to the
position of the person in question within the tribe, or with manhood
initiation rites.
Everybody
knows that working out at the gym will trigger an increase in the size
of the muscles that have to sustain the effort.
In the same way, exercising your penis will force the body to start multiplying the cells that make up the penis tissues and to increase both the length and girth of the penis in order to cope with the new situation.
The
basic principle behind body enlargement is the adaptability of the
human body in response to external stimulation. Unfortunately, we know
little about the origins of penis enlargement exercises.
Although
this male enhancement technique is likely to have as long a history as
that of any of the ancient body modification techniques, the repression
of sexuality conducted by churches over the centuries has discouraged
any attempt to mention such activities on paper.
The best known and earliest reported exercise for penis enlargement is the
Jelq, which is thought to have been handed down by Arabian tribesmen from father to son as an enlargement exercise.
The earliest scientifically accepted
use and mention of the Jelq comes from a study conducted in the 1970s
by doctor Brian Richards in the United Kingdom. You can read more about
these studies at Penis Enlargement Articles.
While
the results of this study are contested by other scientists, who claim
it was used solely to validate a penis enlargement scam, it is worth
noting that the Jelq was a valid penis enlargement technique as early as the 1970s.
It stands to reason that the Jelq predates the 1970s and, possibly, even the 20th century. It is a simple approach to penis enlargement that does not require any special knowledge of human anatomy.
While attempting to enlarge the penis by hanging weights from the shaft might be considered low tech,
Jelq can best be described as no tech, which makes it far easier to learn and use.
