Which Butt Lube is Right for You?

So, unless you like regularly visiting your doctor and downing antibiotics by the bottle, butt lubes with an oil base probably are not the best option. This leaves water based and silicone based anal lubes. Both of these choices are safe when it comes to condoms, as they help keep the condom from breaking, as opposed to actually causing them to tear. Water based butt lubes can dry out, as the water is easily absorbed into your skin. Silicone butt lubes will not dry out as easy, but they are more expensive.
